Terms of Service

  • Last updated: 24 October 2026
  • Applies to everyone who visits or uses Answerkin.
  • Plain-language standard

Section 01Eligibility & acceptance

1. Who can use Answerkin

You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. Answerkin is a business tool: you use it for your trade, business or profession, not as a consumer, to the extent the law of your country allows that distinction.

If you accept these Terms for a company or a client, you confirm you have authority to bind them, and “you” includes that organisation. These Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Refund Policy (together, the “Agreement”) are the entire agreement between us about the service.

Plain-language summary: These Terms are a binding agreement between you and MVPKraft (“we”, “us”), which runs Answerkin (answerkin.com). Please read them carefully: they limit our liability, make AI results your responsibility to check, and require disputes to go to individual arbitration. By creating an account, clicking to agree, or using the service, you accept them. If you don't agree, don't use Answerkin.

Section 02Key terms

2. Definitions

  • “Service” means the Answerkin website, app, emails, reports, exports and any related features.
  • “Your Content” means anything you add: websites, business names, competitors, questions, invites and settings.
  • “Output” means anything the Service generates for you, including AI answers, scores, positions, citations, audits, speed results, recommendations and AI-written fixes.
  • “Third-Party Services” means services we rely on but don't control, including Google (Gemini API, Google Search grounding, PageSpeed Insights), Supabase, Cloudflare, Resend and Dodo Payments.

Section 03Scope of service

3. What the Service does, and doesn't

Each week the Service asks Gemini (through the Gemini API with Google Search grounding) the questions you choose, 2 times each, and records whether your business and the competitors you list are mentioned, in what position and which websites are cited. It audits public pages of your website for common SEO issues, checks mobile speed, and can write suggested fixes using AI.

The Service is an analytics and information tool. It does not change Gemini, Google Search or any AI system, it does not submit anything to Google on your behalf, and it does not edit your website.

We may add, change, limit or remove features at any time. Features marked beta, preview or “coming soon” are provided without any commitment and may never launch.

Section 04Technical reality of AI

4. AI Output: important disclaimer

Output is produced by automated systems and large language models, including Google's Gemini models, that we don't own or control. You understand and agree that:

Important AI disclaimers

  • Output may be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date, inconsistent, biased or offensive, may name the wrong business, and may differ from what people see in the Gemini app, Google Search or Google's AI Overviews, which can also vary by person, place and time.
  • AI answers change from run to run. Scores and positions are estimates from a small number of samples, not measurements of real customer behaviour, traffic or revenue.
  • Output is not professional advice of any kind (legal, marketing, SEO, financial, medical, tax or other). AI-written fixes, schema markup and copy are suggestions only and may contain errors, make claims you can't support, or break your website.
  • You must review and verify any Output before relying on it or publishing it. You alone decide what to do with it and are solely responsible for anything you publish, change or decide based on it.
  • We do not promise or guarantee any result, including any ranking, mention, citation, recommendation, visibility score, traffic, leads, sales or search performance, now or in the future.
  • Output may name or describe real businesses, people, products or websites, including your competitors. Those statements are generated by third-party AI systems, are not statements, opinions or endorsements by us, and you must not present them as ours or as fact without checking them.
  • To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not responsible for any Output or for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, Output.

Section 05Independence & third parties

5. Third-Party Services and Google

The Service depends on Third-Party Services. Their availability, accuracy, quotas, prices, models and terms can change without notice, and we aren't responsible for them, for their outages or for how they behave. If a Third-Party Service changes or stops, we may change or stop the affected feature.

Answerkin is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Google LLC or any other AI provider. Google, Gemini and other names are trademarks of their owners and are used only to describe what the Service measures.

Links to other websites (for example sites cited in an answer) are provided for convenience. We don't control or endorse them and aren't responsible for their content.

Section 06Credential safety

6. Your account and team

You sign in with Google or a one-time email link. Keep your email account secure: anyone who can read it can sign in as you. Give us accurate information and keep it up to date. Tell us at once if you suspect unauthorised access.

You are responsible for everything done through your account, including by team members you invite. Owners control who has access to their websites and may remove members at any time. Members must follow these Terms.

Section 07Authorisation & crawling

7. Websites you add

You confirm that you own, operate or are authorised (for example as their agency) to monitor and audit each website you add, and that adding it doesn't break any law or agreement.

You authorise our crawler, AnswerkinBot, to fetch public pages of your website for the audit, within your plan's weekly page limit. You can limit it with robots.txt; doing so may make audits incomplete. Competitors you list are only looked for in AI answers; we don't crawl their websites.

You are responsible for Your Content, including making sure business names, competitor names and questions are lawful and not defamatory, misleading or infringing.

Section 08Pricing, billing & charges

8. Plans, fees and taxes

Paid plans start at $12 a month. What each plan includes (websites, questions, pages, competitors, AI fixes and similar limits) is shown on our pricing page at the time you buy, and you'll get the full amount your plan includes for each period.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly period, at the then-current price, until you cancel. Our payment partner, Dodo Payments, is the merchant of record: it processes payments and collects applicable sales tax, VAT or GST, and its terms also apply to your purchase.

If a payment fails we may retry it and pause weekly checks until it succeeds. We may change prices for future periods with at least 30 days' email notice; the change applies from your next renewal after that notice, and you can cancel before it takes effect.

All fees are payable in advance and are non-refundable, including for partial periods, unused allowances and downgrades (see the Refund Policy).

Usage limits reset each period and don't roll over. Failures on our side don't use up your allowance; where a check fails, we retry it.

Section 09Freedom to leave

9. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current paid period; you keep access until then and won't be charged again. All fees are non-refundable, as set out in our Refund Policy, except where a law that applies to you requires otherwise.

You can delete your account from Settings at any time. Deletion is immediate and permanent and removes all websites you own and their data. It does not by itself cancel a subscription managed by our payment partner, so cancel first.

Section 10Platform integrity & rules

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to, and not to let anyone else:

  • Use the Service for anything unlawful, fraudulent or harmful, or to harass, defame, impersonate or discriminate against anyone.
  • Monitor or audit websites you aren't authorised to, or enter competitor names or questions designed to produce false, defamatory or harmful statements.
  • Get around plan limits, rate limits or security, share accounts to avoid paying, or create multiple accounts to get extra free usage.
  • Probe, scan, attack or overload our systems; introduce malware; or access data that isn't yours.
  • Scrape, copy, frame, resell, sublicense or reverse-engineer the Service, or use it or its Output to build or train a competing product or AI model.
  • Remove notices, misrepresent Output as human-verified or as coming from Google, or present Output as a guarantee to anyone.
  • Break the terms of any Third-Party Service, including Google's policies for generative AI.

Section 11Ownership & licences

11. Your content and our rights

You keep ownership of Your Content. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, copy, process and transmit it (including to Third-Party Services such as the Gemini API) only as needed to run, secure and improve the Service and as described in the Privacy Policy.

Subject to these Terms and payment of your plan, you may use Output for your own business and your clients. As between us, we don't claim ownership of Output, but similar Output may be generated for others and you get no exclusive rights in it.

We (and our licensors) own the Service, its software, design, brand and documentation. No rights are granted except those stated here. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them freely without obligation to you.

We may use anonymised, aggregated statistics that don't identify you or your business, for example to report on AI visibility trends.

Section 12Uptime & your data

12. Availability and your data

We aim to keep the Service available but don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, or that weekly checks will run at a particular time. We may suspend it for maintenance, security or reasons outside our control.

We keep backups as part of normal operations but are not a backup service. Keep your own copies of anything important, such as exported reports and fixes. Data is deleted on the schedules in the Privacy Policy and cannot be recovered after deletion.

Section 13As-is service

13. No warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service and all Output are provided “as is” and “as available”, with all faults and without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including any warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, quiet enjoyment, or that the Service will meet your needs or achieve any result.

No advice or information from us, the Service or Output creates any warranty not expressly stated in these Terms. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain warranties to be excluded; in that case they're limited to the shortest period and smallest extent the law permits.

Section 14Legal recourse

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MVPKraft, its owners, employees, contractors, suppliers and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, business, customers, goodwill, rankings, traffic, data or opportunity, or for the cost of substitute services, arising from or related to the Service, Output, Third-Party Services or these Terms, however caused and on any theory of liability (contract, tort including negligence, strict liability or otherwise), even if advised that such loss was possible.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims arising from or related to the Service or these Terms is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the 3 months before the event giving rise to the claim, and (b) USD 50.

These limits are an essential part of the bargain between us and apply even if a remedy fails of its essential purpose. They don't limit liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Section 15Your responsibility

15. Your indemnity

You will defend, indemnify and hold harmless MVPKraft and its owners, employees, contractors and partners from and against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, fines, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or related to: Your Content; your use of the Service or Output, including anything you publish; websites you add; your breach of these Terms or of any law or third-party right; or the acts of your team members. We may take control of the defence of any claim at your expense, and you'll cooperate with us.

Section 16Ending the agreement

16. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access, without liability, if you breach these Terms, create risk or legal exposure for us or others, fail to pay, or if we're required to by law or a Third-Party Service. Where reasonable we'll tell you first. If we end the Service for convenience (not because of your breach), we'll refund the unused part of any prepaid period.

Sections that by their nature should survive (including AI Output, Third-Party Services, content rights, no warranties, limitation of liability, indemnity, disputes and general terms) survive termination.

Section 17Beyond our control

17. Events outside our control

We aren't liable for any delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including outages or changes at Google or other Third-Party Services, internet or power failures, cyberattacks, natural disasters, epidemics, war, government action or labour disputes.

Section 18Formal notice & arbitration

18. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.

Before starting any formal claim, email [email protected] describing the issue; we'll both try in good faith to resolve it within 30 days.

If it isn't resolved, any dispute arising from or relating to the Service or these Terms will be finally settled by binding arbitration by a sole arbitrator under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 of India. The seat of arbitration is India, proceedings will be in English and may be held online, and the award may be enforced in any court with jurisdiction. Either party may seek urgent injunctive relief from a competent court.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, disputes will be resolved only on an individual basis: you waive any right to bring or join a class, collective or representative action, and to a jury trial. Any claim must be brought within one year after it arises, or it is permanently barred.

If you are a consumer in a country whose law gives you rights that can't be waived (such as to sue in your local courts), these provisions apply only as far as that law allows.

Section 19Global use

19. Using Answerkin from any country

Answerkin is operated from India. We make no representation that the Service or Output is appropriate, lawful or available in any particular country. If you use it from anywhere else, you do so on your own initiative and at your own risk, and you are responsible for complying with your local laws, including those on advertising, consumer protection, data protection and the use of AI.

Wherever you are, you agree that these Terms (including the disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, governing law, arbitration and class-action waiver) apply to you to the fullest extent permitted by the law of your country, and that a provision that can't apply where you live is limited only as much as needed, with the rest remaining in force.

Section 20Export controls

20. Export and sanctions

You may not use the Service if you are located in, or are a person targeted by, a country or list subject to applicable sanctions or export restrictions, or use it in breach of those laws.

Section 21Updates

21. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We'll post the new version here with a new date and, for material changes, email account owners at least 14 days before they apply. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new Terms; if you don't agree, cancel and stop using the Service.

Section 22General provisions

22. General

  • If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent possible and the rest stays in effect.
  • Our failure to enforce a provision isn't a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
  • There are no third-party beneficiaries. Nothing here creates a partnership, agency or employment relationship.
  • We may send notices by email to the address on your account or by posting in the Service; you can send notices to us by email. The English version of these Terms controls.
